We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thurlestone House. The room was cozy and warm, with a lovely view of the bay below. The shower had plenty of hot water, which was perfect for those chilly winter mornings. The breakfast selection was generous and delicious, with options for both hot and cold dishes. The owners, John and Linda, made us feel right at home and treated us like part of their family. They were helpful and provided us with all the information we needed to explore St Ives. The location was convenient, just a short bus ride away from the town center. we had a homely and comfortable experience at Thurlestone House.
There was a slight issue with parking as the guest house is located on a busy main road, but John had a good system in place to ensure enough off-road spaces for guests. Additionally, it would have been nice to have some outdoor seating areas.
